Most people have a fairly unstructured approach to giving. Giving a few dollars here and a few more there. At the end of the year it’s often hard to find all the receipts. If you are donating close to or more than $20,000 pa then you should consider a more structured approach to your philanthropic goals.
Royston Capital can advise on and implement philanthropic strategies including establishment and oversight of private and public ancillary funds.
Estate Plan – its very common to leave a donation in via your Will….. but would it not be preferable to give while you are alive and can see the impact that your donation makes? You are also eligible for a tax break if you give while you are alive, there is no tax deduction for your estate or beneficiaries if you give via your Will.
